Discover a carefully designed 3.5 km (2.2 mi) trail winding through our 45-hectare (111-acre) private rainforest sanctuary, accompanied by a certified naturalist guide. While the trail explores only a portion of the reserve, it offers an immersive journey through one of Arenal’s richest ecosystems, revealing the remarkable diversity of tropical plants, towering trees, and the intricate relationships that sustain life in the rainforest.

Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed—this is a wild, protected forest—but the knowledge, experience, and trained eyes of our naturalist guides greatly increase your opportunities to observe wildlife that many visitors might otherwise overlook. Your guide also carries a spotting scope, allowing you to enjoy closer views while respecting the animals and their natural behavior.
