Birdwatching
Experience

  • 4 Hours Duration

Start your day before sunrise on an approximately 3.5 km (2.2 mi) guided walk through our private rainforest reserve. Early morning is the most active time in the forest, when birds are vocal, feeding, and moving through the canopy and understory.

Your specialist birding guide will help you identify birds by sight and sound while sharing fascinating insights into their behavior and the rainforest ecosystem. Wildlife observations are never guaranteed, but our guides’ local knowledge, trained ears, and spotting scopes significantly enhance your opportunities to observe a remarkable diversity of birdlife.

The trail passes through protected rainforest that provides habitat for toucans, motmots, trogons, hummingbirds, tanagers, woodcreepers, oropendolas, and many other resident and migratory species. Every walk is unique, shaped by the rhythms of nature and the season.

With small groups and a peaceful setting, you’ll enjoy an intimate birdwatching experience away from crowded trails.
